Assembler
Job Description
We are looking for an individual who is motivated to learn and capable of performing a multitude of functions in a flexible, fast-paced electronics environment and is able to multi-task and prioritize time and work.
Job Responsibilities
- Insert by hand components into the correct circuit designation on printed circuit boards
- Solder wires into printed circuit boards
- Assemble and test wiring harness systems
- Utilize hand soldering irons and tools to repair, rework and build parts
- Meet all standard production rates
- Other related duties as required in manufacturing department
Qualifications
- Good eyesight, good work habits, mechanical aptitude, basic computer knowledge
- Education: High School Graduate or GED
- US citizenship
Full-time Electronics Design Engineer
Job Description:
This is a new full-time position for our growing design engineering department (currently 10 full time employees). Z-AXIS provides quality design, prototyping and contract manufacturing services for complex electronic products and electromechanical assemblies. These devices include LED drivers, sensing and measurement devices, laser drivers, machine controls, motor drivers, solenoid drivers and electronic medical devices. Most of the designs have an embedded microprocessor in them. We also design and manufacture commercial, industrial, medical custom power supplies under our Bear Power Supplies brand.
As a design engineer you will be embraced by a skilled team and work through challenges together.
• Work on a variety of interesting and challenging power supplies and other electronic products.
• Spend your time designing and debugging – rather than sitting in meetings.
• Teamwork – nobody is alone on difficult problems. There are four other design engineers who are happy to share ideas. Even the president and design engineering manager are involved and have engineering degrees
• Work in a collaborative environment with other electrical design engineers with analog, power, digital and microprocessor based designs
• Mentor less experienced engineering personnel including co-ops and techs.
• Make a difference in all that you do and never just be another number.
Qualifications:
• BS or BET in Electrical Engineering
• Preferably 10 years experience designing analog circuits but the right experience will be taken into consideration
• US citizenship
• Excellent analog design skills
• High skill level with op-amps
• Digital circuit design skills preferred
• Good communication skills
• Effective problem solving & root cause evaluation skills
• Ability to work in cross-functional teams
